Rabbinic Development at The Jewish Theological Seminary partners with rabbis in the field to offer continuing eduction, access to JTS resources, and continual study. Our rabbis are:

Rabbinic Training Institute

For the past twenty-three years, JTS has been offering RTI as a program of continuing rabbinic education for rabbis in the field. Each year at full capacity, the Rabbinic Training Institute accommodates sixty Conservative rabbis at a remote location for a week of professional and personal growth. Its purpose is to provide serious learning with world renowned scholars, focus on practical skills in a developing rabbinate, and give an opportunity for small groups to gather in the evenings to discuss the spiritual issues of a practicing rabbi.

JTS Convocation Honoring Members of The Rabbinical Assembly

In December, 2007, JTS conferred honorary degrees on forty-six rabbis. As part of the celebration, the rabbis were invited to participate in a distance-learning course taught by Dr. David Kraemer. If you are one of these rabbis and need to access the JTS Blackboard site, please click here.
