Recent alum, Geoffrey Claussen, welcomed as first professor of Jewish Studies at Elon University

• Barat Ellman (GS '11) delivered the remarks on behalf of graduates from the professional and graduate schools of The Jewish Theological Seminary at the 2011 JTS Commencement Exercises.

• Current student Stefanie Halpern gave a presentation entitled "Kate Bateman: Sanitizing the Beautiful Jewess" at the 2011 Conney Conference at the University of Wisconsin.
